Broadband Service Password

Your broadband username & service password are configured inside your modem at the time of setup. When you power on your modem, this username and password is used to authenticate the modem on our Vodafone Network.

This is the same password to use when using your broadband account at a Wifi Hotspot.

Changing your service password

WARNING! Changing your broadband service password will affect your modems' authentication on the Vodafone network. Learn how to reconfigure the service password in your modem settings before making changes.
  1. Login to the Usage Page with your broadband username & usage page password
  2. Select Services > Service Name as highlighted below. Depending on how your broadband account is configured, this option may appear under the IP traffic service instead.

4. Enter your current & new password twice and select Change password

5. If the password change is successful, you will see a message like below

After changing your service password, be sure to update your modem settings with the new password.

What if I forget my service password?

Please contact Customer Service to reset your service password. However, as mentioned, this will affect your modems' authentication on the Vodafone network. If we change your service password, you will need to change the password saved in your modem. If you're not sure how to do that, you'll need to bring your modem into Vodafone to have it reconfigured
